The Herrgottsruhkapelle on Roßhaupter Weg in Haldenwang, a small municipality in the Swabian district of Günzburg, is a modest rural Catholic chapel first built around 1600. It was renovated in 1733 in the baroque style, giving it the character it retains today. Listed as a protected monument (Baudenkmal) under Bavarian heritage law, it reflects the tradition of wayside devotional chapels common across rural Swabia, where travellers and farmers would pause for prayer. Visitors today find a quiet, unadorned sacred space set apart from the village center.
