Famous Hollywood cemetery with film legends, summer open-air cinema and concerts next to Paramount Studios.

Hollywood Forever Cemetery is one of the world's most famous burial grounds, located on Santa Monica Boulevard next to Paramount Pictures. Founded in 1899, it is the final resting place of Hollywood legends including Rudolph Valentino, Douglas Fairbanks, and Cecil B. DeMille. Beyond its role as a cemetery, the venue thrives as a cultural center: in summer, silent films are projected onto mausoleum walls and concerts draw young Angelenos among the historic tombstones. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, it uniquely combines mourning and celebration.
