Angel Stadium of Anaheim

Angel Stadium of Anaheim has been the home ground of the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball since 1966 and seats 45,517. It sits in Anaheim southeast of Los Angeles, very close to Disneyland. Behind the left wall stands the iconic Big A, a 70-meter steel letter crowned with a halo, used as the scoreboard until 1979 and now preserved as a landmark. An artificial rock landscape with a waterfall behind center field was added in 1997 during a renovation by Disney, then the team owner. It is one of the few MLB parks with a view of the San Gabriel Mountains. On game days families gather for tailgate parties across the vast parking lots.
