İbn-i Sina Botanik Bahçesi

The İbn-i Sina Botanical Garden is a small medicinal-plant garden attached to the Istanbul Museum of the History of Islamic Science and Technology. It takes its name from Ibn Sina — known in the West as Avicenna — the 11th-century Persian polymath whose encyclopedic medical canon shaped medicine across the Islamic world and medieval Europe for centuries. Visitors describe a calm, leafy space with mature trees and plantings that reflect the botanical sources of classical Islamic medicine. The garden is tucked away and easy to miss; locating the museum within Gülhane Park first is the most reliable approach.
