Literary museum in Henrik Ibsen's last home, near the Royal Palace in Oslo.
The Ibsen Museum in Oslo is dedicated to the Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen and occupies his final apartment, close to the Royal Palace on Henrik Ibsens gate. Ibsen lived here from 1895 until his death in 1906. Visitors can explore his original study and the apartment, preserved largely as he left them. As one of the most influential dramatists in world literature, Ibsen's works like "A Doll's House" and "Peer Gynt" continue to captivate readers and theater enthusiasts today.
