Jingtai Tomb

Also known as: Jingtai ling

The Jingtai Mausoleum holds the remains of the seventh Ming emperor Jingtai at the northern foot of Yuquan Shan in Beijing's Haidian district. Unlike his predecessors he is deliberately not buried among the Thirteen Ming Tombs because his imperial status was posthumously revoked after his deposition in 1457. The site has been on China's national heritage list since 2001.
