Lemon Gas Stadium Hiratsuka

Hiratsuka Kyogijo, currently Lemon Gas Stadium Hiratsuka through sponsorship, is the home ground of Japanese J-League club Shonan Bellmare. It sits inside Hiratsuka Sogo Park near Sagami Bay in Kanagawa Prefecture and opened in 1987, just before the rise of what was then the Fujita Industries soccer club. The stadium holds around 15,380 spectators and is an open-air ground with a covered main stand. It hosted matches during the 2002 FIFA Women's tournament and regularly stages J-League fixtures. Its proximity to the sea makes wind a known factor that has shaped Bellmare's flowing passing style. Away fans reach the stadium on foot in about 25 minutes from JR Hiratsuka station, easy to combine with a trip to the nearby Shonan beaches.
