Oorlogsmuseum

The Atlantic Wall & Air War Bunker Museum sits inside Park den Brandt in Wilrijk, a district of Antwerp, and preserves one of Belgium's rare intact sections of the wartime Atlantic Wall. The bunker village was constructed in 1943 under German occupation and originally comprised eight concrete bunkers; three are now open to visitors, with two repurposed as museum space covering the Atlantic Wall and aerial warfare over Belgium. The interiors remain largely in their original state, offering an unusually tangible encounter with occupation-era military infrastructure. The wooded park setting makes the fortifications feel all the more unexpected. Entry is by paid admission.
