Schmithof

The Schmithof nature reserve lies west of Walheim in the municipality of Aachen, close to the Belgian-German border. Designated in 1988, it protects meadow and biotope habitats in the rolling hill country of the northern Eifel. The area suits quiet walks away from busier trails and sees relatively little visitor traffic.
