Valley Children's Stadium

Valley Children's Stadium, formally Jim Sweeney Field at Bulldog Stadium, is an outdoor college football venue on the campus of California State University, Fresno. Home to the Fresno State Bulldogs of the Mountain West Conference, it carries its current name through a naming-rights agreement with Valley Children's Hospital. The stadium is named in honor of Jim Sweeney, a longtime Bulldogs head coach who built the program's modern identity. On game days the campus comes alive with tailgating, Bulldog-red crowds, and the kind of tightly knit college-town atmosphere that makes Fresno State football a genuine community ritual rather than just a sporting event.
