Cuneo

About Cuneo

Cuneo sits in southern Piedmont at the confluence of the Stura and Gesso rivers, at the foot of the Maritime Alps. With roughly 55,000 inhabitants, it serves as the capital of its eponymous province and is recognized for its broad arcaded streets and orderly grid layout. The surrounding landscape rises into alpine terrain, including Monte Granè and Monte Tournour. The city also holds several historic religious buildings worth visiting, among them the Chiesa di Sant'Antonio, the Chiesa di San Nicola, and the Cappella Madonna della Neve.
