Автомобиль ГАЗ-67Б

A preserved GAZ-67B — the Soviet counterpart to the Willys Jeep — stands as an open-air memorial in Nizhny Novgorod, the very city where it was manufactured. Produced from 1943 at the Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ), the four-wheel-drive vehicle served the Red Army throughout World War II before being built in even larger numbers for postwar civilian and agricultural use. The exhibit commemorates the GAZ plant's central role in the Soviet war economy and remains a marker of the city's deep industrial identity.
