201 Portage

201 Portage is a 34-storey postmodern office tower standing 128 metres tall at the intersection of Portage and Main in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba. Commissioned by the Toronto-Dominion Bank and completed in 1990 at a cost of 38 million dollars, it is one of the taller buildings in the city's skyline. The building is privately owned by Creswin Properties, a real-estate firm operated by the Asper family. It functions solely as commercial office space with no public access, making its main point of interest its location at Winnipeg's most prominent downtown intersection.
