Aalbach

The Aalbach is a 26.5-kilometre left-bank tributary of the Main river, flowing through Bavaria's Würzburg district and the Baden-Württemberg Main-Tauber-Kreis before joining the Main near Rieneck. The stream winds through forested low-mountain terrain characteristic of the Spessart foothills, with largely undeveloped banks. It offers quiet walking and fishing along stretches that see little visitor infrastructure.
