Allan H. Treman State Marine Park sits at the southern tip of Cayuga Lake, one of New York's eleven Finger Lakes, covering roughly 37 acres of shoreline parkland. Established in 1969, it hosts one of the largest inland marinas in New York State, with several hundred boat slips catering to sailors and motorboaters heading north along the glacially carved lake. Paved trails run along the water's edge, offering open views across the lake toward Ithaca's surrounding hills. Picnic areas and easy lake access make it a practical day-trip destination for the local Ithaca community and Cornell students alike.
