Amouda Castle

Amouda is a medieval castle ruin located in the village of Gökçedam in the central district of Osmaniye Province, and is identified as a remnant of Lesser Armenia — the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia, which held influence in this region from the 11th to the 14th century. Little is documented about its construction date, builders, or original function.
