Skhvilo Castle

Skhvilo Fortress crowns the summit of a prominent conical hill in Kaspi Municipality, about four kilometers southeast of the village of Mskhlebi in Georgia's Inner Kartli region. The medieval stronghold likely served to control the surrounding agricultural plain, though precise construction dates and dynastic attribution remain undocumented. Today it stands as a quiet ruin: the climb to the hilltop rewards with broad views across the Kartlian lowlands, and the crumbling ring wall remains a visible landmark from the plains below.
