Appleford Railway Bridge

The Appleford Railway Bridge is a Victorian rail crossing near the village of Appleford-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, carrying the Cherwell Valley Line over the River Thames between Didcot and Oxford. Opened in December 1843 during Britain's early railway boom, it represents functional Victorian civil engineering rather than a visitor destination. The bridge remains an active rail line and can be viewed from the riverbank, but offers no public access or dedicated visitor infrastructure.
