Al-Rashid Mausoleum

The Al-Rashid Mausoleum is a historic funerary monument in Isfahan, Iran, attributed to the Seljuk architectural tradition that shaped much of Iran and Central Asia between the 11th and 13th centuries. Built from fired brick, plaster, and stone, its domed form is characteristic of Islamic tomb architecture of the period. Little is documented about the individual it commemorates or its precise construction date. Listed as Iranian cultural heritage, the mausoleum sits outside Isfahan's main tourist circuit and remains relatively little studied.
