Arany János utca

Arany János utca is a Budapest Metro Line M3 station opened in 1981, named after the 19th-century Hungarian poet János Arany. Located between Deák Ferenc tér and Nyugati pályaudvar, it is wheelchair accessible and operated by BKV. The station's design is typical of the M3 line's Soviet-era brutalist aesthetic — deeply cut, functional, and unadorned — serving primarily as a transit node rather than a destination in its own right.
