Argonaut Peak

Argonaut Peak rises to 8,453 ft (2,576 m) as part of the Stuart Range within the Wenatchee Mountains of Washington State, ranking 65th among the state's highest summits. It sits inside the Alpine Lakes Wilderness of the Wenatchee National Forest and belongs to the celebrated Enchantments region, one of the Pacific Northwest's most dramatic high-alpine landscapes. The peak forms the high point of a ridge between Colchuck Peak and Sherpa Peak, with a western and southeastern summit of nearly equal elevation — the western top is considered the true summit. The ascent involves rocky alpine terrain beyond standard hiking and calls for some scrambling or climbing experience. On clear days the summit offers expansive views across the Cascades and the glacier-carved lake basins below.
