Atlantic Motorway (Spain)

The AP-9 Autopista del Atlántico is a toll motorway in Galicia running from A Coruña in the north to Tui on the Portuguese border, forming part of European route E1. Opened in 1973, it crosses Galicia's hilly terrain on a series of concrete viaducts. It is functional transport infrastructure with no tourist or cultural value as a destination in itself.
