A13 motorway
The A13 is Switzerland's second most important north–south national highway, running through the cantons of Ticino, Graubünden, and St. Gallen. The Alpine crossing section between Thusis and Soazza, opened in 1967, passes through the Rheinwald via viaducts and tunnels. Beyond Swiss territory, the route also serves as a key access link to the Principality of Liechtenstein.
