A8 autostrada

The A8 autostrada is a toll-free bypass motorway skirting Wrocław from south to north across a total length of roughly 35 km. Completed in August 2011 at a cost of around 4 billion Polish złoty, it redirects long-distance through-traffic away from the city center. For visitors it is purely transit infrastructure with no touristic or cultural function.
