Brama Odrzańska

The Brama Odrzańska — known in German as the Odertor — is a surviving city gate built in 1596 as part of the former town fortifications of Brzeg (historic Brieg) in Silesia. Constructed in Renaissance style, it once guarded the main approach to the town from the Oder river, making it a key element of the city's defensive perimeter. Listed as an immovable monument under Polish heritage law, the gate stands as a quiet, rarely-visited remnant of late-16th-century Silesian urban fortification architecture.
