Babka Tower

Babka Tower is a residential high-rise in Warsaw's central Śródmieście district, completed in 2001 as the city's first apartment building to reach 100 metres. Its name derives from the Rondo Babka roundabout at its base — a traffic circle that was renamed Rondo Zgrupowania AK 'Radosław' in 2011, though the tower kept its original name. The building represents Warsaw's early-2000s residential tower boom rather than any distinctive architectural movement, and functions today as a straightforward apartment block with no public facilities or cultural programme.
