Millennium Tower

The Millennium Tower at Handelskai 94 to 96 in Vienna's Brigittenau district was, on its completion in 1999, the tallest office building in Austria at 171 metres to the roof and 202 metres including the mast. It lost that title to DC Tower 1 in Donau City in 2013. Its 50 storeys hold about 47,200 square metres of gross floor area, including 38,500 square metres of office space. Its podium contains Millennium City, a shopping and leisure complex with cinema, shops and restaurants. The tower itself is not open to visitors, but its vertical silhouette is now part of the modern Vienna skyline as seen from the Danube embankment. Handelskai U6 station is right at the entrance.
