Bodø station

Bodø station marks the northern terminus of the Nordland Railway, Norway's longest line, stretching roughly 730 kilometres south to Trondheim across the Arctic Circle. The station building dates to 1961 and was designed in the functional modernist style common to Norwegian postwar reconstruction; it is now a listed heritage structure. For most visitors it serves as a transit hub for onward ferry connections to the Lofoten and Vesterålen islands.
