Iksan Station
Colonial Era
Gobabis Railway Station is a TransNamib stop in Gobabis, the administrative center of Namibia's Omaheke Region near the Botswana border. The rail connection to Gobabis dates to the German colonial period, when the network was extended eastward into cattle-farming territory in the early 20th century. Today passenger services are minimal, and the station functions more as a local landmark than a working transport hub.
