Iksan Station

Iksan Station — formerly known as Iri Station — is a rail junction in South Korea's Jeollabuk-do province in the southwest of the country. Founded in 1915 under Japanese colonial administration, it is among the older stations on the Korean peninsula. Today it serves as a transfer point on the Honam and Jeolla lines, connecting the region to Seoul and cities such as Jeonju and Gwangju, functioning primarily as a transit hub rather than a destination in itself.
