Hennef (Sieg) station

Hennef (Sieg) station sits in the town centre of Hennef in the Rhein-Sieg district and was opened in 1859 by the Cologne-Minden Railway as part of the Sieg line. Today it functions primarily as a commuter hub, served by S-Bahn lines S 12 and S 19 running up to six times per hour to Cologne Hauptbahnhof, supplemented by the RE 9 regional express once an hour toward Aachen and Siegen.
