Anhalter Bahn

The Anhalter Bahn is the Berlin-area name for the railway line between Berlin and Halle (Saale), originally built and operated by the Berlin-Anhalt Railway Company in the 19th century. It forms part of the international rail corridor Berlin–Palermo and remains one of Germany's key long-distance rail axes. In the Potsdam area it runs as an electrified main line operated by DB InfraGO AG — a piece of transport infrastructure with no standalone visitor appeal.
