Milano Porta Garibaldi railway station

Postwar Modernism
Kaliningrad North Station is the smaller of the city's two main railway stations, originally built in 1930 when the city was still the German Königsberg in East Prussia. It served as the departure point for trains running to the Samland Baltic coast — a function it retains to this day. While much of Königsberg was destroyed in 1945, the station survived and now connects the city to coastal destinations such as Baltiysk and Zelenogradsk, making it a practical hub for visitors heading to the Kaliningrad region's shoreline.
