Kokura Station

Kokura Station is located in the Kokura-kita ward of Kitakyūshū city, Fukuoka Prefecture, on the island of Kyūshū. Opened in 1891 during the Meiji period, it serves today as the region's primary long-distance rail hub, with stops on the San'yō and Kyūshū Shinkansen lines alongside regional and local services. Its significance is primarily as a transit interchange rather than a destination in its own right.
