Chur railway station

Chur railway station, opened in 1858, is the principal rail hub of the canton of Graubünden. Its defining feature is the direct interchange between the standard-gauge SBB network and the narrow-gauge Rhaetian Railway (RhB), one of the few points in Switzerland where both gauges meet under one roof. The station building carries regional heritage protection as a Swiss cultural asset of class B, reflecting the sturdy Historicism typical of early Swiss federal railway construction. For travellers, Chur serves as the natural gateway toward Davos, the Engadin, and St. Moritz.
