Löbau (Sachs) railway station

Löbau (Sachs) railway station is a protected heritage building on the double-track main line between Görlitz and Dresden in the Upper Lusatia region. It once served as a regional rail hub with connections to several branch lines and international services, reflecting Löbau's former importance in the Saxon railway network. The progressive dismantling of long-distance services culminated in the complete withdrawal of express trains in 2004, and all branch line passenger services have since been discontinued. Only regional trains on the Görlitz–Dresden corridor still stop here today.
