Nistertal-Bad Marienberg station

Nistertal-Bad Marienberg station sits at kilometre 42.4 of the Oberwesterwaldbahn line running between Limburg and Au/Sieg, and is listed as a protected cultural monument in Rhineland-Palatinate. Between 1911 and 1996 a branch line to Fehl-Ritzhausen diverged here, briefly elevating this quiet rural stop into a modest interchange point. Today only a handful of trains call at the station; the listed station building remains as a small-scale reminder of early 20th-century railway history in the Westerwald region.
