Muizenberg station

Muizenberg station is a heritage-listed railway building in the Cape Town coastal suburb of Muizenberg, sitting directly on False Bay. Classified since 1981 under South African heritage protection, it is considered the most elaborately designed station building along the entire Metrorail line from Cape Town — an unusual example of Edwardian-era classicist ambition applied to suburban rail infrastructure. Operationally it functions as a simple two-track halt on the route that traces the Liesbeeck and Diep rivers, serving both daily commuters and visitors heading to Muizenberg's well-known surf beach.
