Korbach station

Korbach station opened on 15 August 1893 as a junction station where the Wega–Brilon Wald line met the Lower Eder Valley Railway. Its Gründerzeit-era building is characteristic of small-town station architecture from the Wilhelmine period in northern Hesse. Today it operates as a simpler splitting-point station serving regional rail connections in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district.
