Pirmasens Nord station
Pirmasens Nord station — known as Biebermühle until 1938 — opened in 1875 as a rural junction station roughly seven kilometres north of Pirmasens and is today listed as a protected cultural monument. Its role as a crossing point once gave it operational significance beyond what its remote setting suggests. The station currently has four platform tracks and is integrated into the Rhine-Neckar Transport Association (VRN) fare network.
