Koblenz railway station

Koblenz station, located just south of the Swiss village of Koblenz in the canton of Aargau, opened on 18 August 1859 as part of the Turgi–Koblenz–Waldshut line operated by the Swiss North Eastern Railway (NOB). Two further connections — to Winterthur in 1876 and to Stein-Säckingen in 1892 — turned it into a junction station during the late 19th century. A comprehensive modernisation was carried out in 2013, while the station building retains protected status as a Swiss cultural heritage site of regional significance (Class B).
