Treysa station

Treysa station opened in 1908 as a through-station on the Main-Weser-Bahn and is listed as a protected cultural monument in the state of Hesse. Its Wilhelmine-era building, typical of the confident civic architecture of Imperial Germany, still stands in the Treysa district of Schwalmstadt. Notably, the station serves as an ICE high-speed rail stop — a rare distinction for a town of its size in northern Hesse.
