Basilica of St. James
Church BuildingCatholicNational Monument+3
The Basilique Notre-Dame de Lourdes is a Roman Catholic minor basilica in the southwestern quarter of Nancy, consecrated to Our Lady of Lourdes. Built in the early 1900s in the historicist style fashionable during the Belle Époque, the structure blends Romanesque rounded arches with Neo-Gothic window tracery — a deliberate architectural eclecticism common in French diocesan building of that era. It remains an active parish church within the Diocese of Nancy-Toul. The interior is lit by stained-glass windows, and the building is wheelchair accessible.
