Bayerisches Polizeimuseum

The Bayerisches Polizeimuseum opened on 19 December 2011 inside the Triva Tower, a 19th-century historicist round tower that once formed part of Ingolstadt's city fortifications and now stands within the landscaped Klenzepark. Operated as a department of the Bavarian Army Museum, it traces the history of the Bavarian police from early-modern predecessors to the present day through uniforms, equipment, vehicles, and archival documents spanning several centuries. Open Tuesday to Friday 9:00–17:30 and Saturday to Sunday 10:00–17:30; admission is charged.
