Lübeck-Travemünde Strand station
Terminus StationListed Building
Bernburg Hauptbahnhof is the main rail hub for Bernburg (Saale) in Saxony-Anhalt and carries one of Germany's earliest railway histories. When it opened in 1846 as a terminus — a Kopfbahnhof — it served one of the country's first rail lines, before being replaced by a through-station as early as 1865. The listed station building, restored in 2012, survives as a rare architectural witness to mid-19th-century German railway development. Today it connects passengers on the Köthen–Aschersleben line and a branch route towards Calbe.
