Germany oldest surviving princely museum building - built between 1755 and 1764 by Johann Gottfried Büring under Frederick the Great. The gallery sits east of Sanssouci Palace and houses Italian High Baroque works including Caravaggio Doubting Thomas and pieces by Rubens and van Dyck. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Palaces and Parks of Potsdam.
