Свободная Корея

Pik Swobodnaja Korea (Свободная Корея, meaning 'Free Korea') is a mountain in the Kyrgyz Ala-Too range, a northern spur of the Tian Shan in Kyrgyzstan, situated south of Bishkek. The origin of its unusual name is poorly documented but almost certainly dates to the Soviet era, when politically symbolic names were widely assigned to geographic features across Central Asia. The summit offers trekkers views over the Kyrgyz Ala-Too highlands, though elevation figures, trail conditions, and access routes are not publicly recorded.
