Bobbahn

The Bobbahn is a steel bobsled coaster at Heide Park Resort in Soltau, built by Mack Rides and opened in 1994 as the Schweizer Bobbahn. It currently holds the distinction of being the tallest and longest ride of its type in the world. Riders sit in four-person bobsled cars that slide freely through banked curves without a fixed tilt angle, giving each run a slightly unpredictable feel. The attraction is a staple of the Heide Park lineup, aimed at families and coaster newcomers looking for speed without inversions.
