Milad Tower

Milad Tower stands at 435 metres, making it Iran's tallest tower and the sixth-tallest telecommunications tower in the world — a reinforced-concrete landmark anchoring the northwestern district of Gisha against Tehran's sprawling skyline. Fully inaugurated in 2007 after a prolonged construction period, it serves primarily as a broadcast and telecommunications facility. Its distinctive elliptical head structure, positioned at roughly 315 metres, houses an observation deck, a revolving restaurant, and conference facilities. On clear days the platform offers sweeping views across Tehran's dense urban fabric toward the snow-capped Alborz mountains to the north, making the city's dramatic setting between desert plateau and high mountain range immediately tangible.
