Buchenberg

The Buchenberg is a forested hill in the Engelthaler Forst within the Nürnberger Land district of the Franconian Alb, framed by the Nonnenberg and Entenberg hills. Its terrain is characteristic of the Franconian Jura's layered scarp landscape — wooded slopes, quiet forest tracks, and occasional views over the rolling countryside between Klingenhof and Offenhausen. A modest, peaceful hiking destination known mainly to locals and walkers from the surrounding region rather than a major tourist draw.
